OtiBIOM is an innovative ear care preparation
containing beneficial probiotic strains Lactobacillus
plantarum and Bifidobacterium animalis.
It supports a healthy ear microbiota, helping in cases of
irritation, unpleasant odour, or a tendency towards ear
infections.
Regular use promotes ear health, especially in breeds
predisposed to ear problems and in animals prone to
allergies.

Directions
for Use
Dosage: 1 capsule per max. 2.5 ml of water per ear
Intensive
Therapy
1–2 times daily for at least 5–10 days
Prophylactic
Therapy
1 application 1–2 times per week
Intensive therapy should be followed by prophylactic
therapy, as stopping probiotic treatment too early may
result in symptom recurrence.
Suggested use based on condition severity:
- Early-stage ear irritation: once daily for 5–10 days
- Severe ear dysbiosis: twice daily for at least 10 days, then once daily for at least 10 more days, followed by gradual extension of intervals between applications
- The product may be used as monotherapy or in combination with glucocorticosteroids and antibiotics (e.g., fluoroquinolones).
- When combining with other preparations (including ear cleansers): allow 6–12 hours between applications.
- Caution:
If eardrum perforation is suspected, use with particular care — dissolve the preparation in a minimal amount of water and apply only to the auricle and the entrance of the ear canal.
Storage
- Store at +2 to +8 °C.
Preparation Instructions
- 1. Add boiled or filtered water at room temperature
- 2. Pour capsule contents into the bottle
- 3. Shake until the lyophilised powder is fully
dissolved - 4. Administer the prepared solution into the ear
- 5. Wash the bottle after use
- To puncture the nozzle seal, press the cap firmly.
- Before first use, rinse the bottle.
- Always prepare a fresh solution before application.
